Welcome to International Vision Screener Institute

The course aims to train those who are involved in vision screening to have proper knowledge in identifying vison problems hence reducing the undetected and undiagnosed visual impairment and blindness in the community.

This programme will expose the students as certified vision screener and to provide vision screening to the underserved community and indiagnosed community. Students will learn the step by step procedure of simple vision screening using the module developed by Optometry and Visual Sciences researchers. Then students will be brought to the community to assist the optometrists or ophthalmologist during the eye examination.

entry requirement

-Minimum A level, SPM or equivalent - Age 18 and above - Interest in volunteer and charity work
